How to Use
From checkout to chart
Everything you need to get an Artillery Trades indicator running on your TradingView chart — what to set up first, how access is delivered, where to find the scripts, and how to read what they draw. These are analytical charting tools, not financial advice.
Before you begin
Artillery Trades indicators run inside TradingView — there is nothing to download and no separate app to install. You need a TradingView account before access can be granted.
- A TradingView account is required. A free account works for getting access.
- TradingView’s free plan limits how many indicators you can apply to a single chart, so traders running several Artillery tools side by side usually move to a paid TradingView plan. That is a TradingView limit, not ours.
- You will need your exact TradingView username — not your email address.
- Premium indicators are delivered as invite-only scripts on TradingView. The free and open-source tools are not currently reachable on a public TradingView page — contact support for access to those while their publication is being restored.
- These are analytical tools. They do not place trades, and access does not guarantee any trading result.
Get access
Access is tied to your account, then granted on TradingView by an automated sync task. Here is the actual sequence:
- Choose a plan on the Pricing page — Single or Full Suite, monthly or annual.
- Complete checkout. You will be returned to the site once payment is confirmed.
- Sign in and open your Dashboard.
- In "Link TradingView Account", enter your exact TradingView username and save it. This step is required — without it we have no account to grant access to.
- Access is typically activated within 24 hours after your TradingView username is submitted.
- Open TradingView and add the indicator to a chart.
If access has not appeared after 24 hours, verify your TradingView username in your dashboard or contact support. If the username is entered incorrectly the grant cannot complete — check it against your TradingView profile.
Find the indicators in TradingView
Once access has been granted, the scripts appear in your own TradingView indicator list.
- Open any chart on TradingView.
- Click "Indicators" in the top toolbar.
- Open the "Invite-only scripts" section for premium products. This section only lists scripts you have been granted.
- Free and open-source tools are not delivered through the invite-only grant. Their public TradingView pages are not reachable at the moment, so contact support if you need one of them.
- Click the script name to add it to your chart.
If the "Invite-only scripts" section is empty, access has not finished processing yet, or the TradingView username on your Dashboard does not match your account.
Use the right market, timeframe and session
Each indicator is built for a specific instrument, timeframe and session window. Using it outside those conditions will not produce the behaviour it was designed for.
- Secret Weapon is built for the S&P futures — MES and ES.
- El Maestro, Luquillo and the other MNQ strategies are built for MNQ on the 5-minute chart.
- ICT Smart Money Elite covers MNQ and MES around the New York kill zones.
- Artillery Key Levels is a session-structure and confluence map for ES and MES — market context, not standalone entry signals (coming soon — we’re completing the final TradingView integration).
- Each product page lists its instrument, timeframe and intended session. Check it before you trade the tool.
Do not assume every indicator behaves the same way on every market.
Read what appears on the chart
Depending on the product, an indicator may draw some of the following. Not every indicator includes every element — the product page tells you which ones apply.
- Entry labels marking where the setup triggered.
- Stop-loss and take-profit projections, where the strategy defines them.
- Range boxes and session levels for range and mean-reversion tools.
- Market-structure and confluence context for the ICT model.
- A live dashboard or checklist summarising the current state.
A drawn take-profit level is a projection of the strategy’s target — it is not a record of a completed trade.
Start on default settings
Every indicator ships with the settings it is marketed on. Start there. Open the indicator’s settings from the chart legend if you want to review them, and change one thing at a time so you can tell what each control does.
We do not publish "optimised" settings that promise better results. Tuning an indicator until it looks good on past data tells you very little about the future.
Set up alerts
Indicators that generate BUY/SELL signals expose them as TradingView alert conditions, so you do not have to watch the chart.
- Add the indicator to your chart first.
- Click the alarm icon, or right-click the chart and choose "Add alert".
- Set the condition to the indicator and pick its signal.
- Choose "Once per bar close" to avoid alerts firing on an unclosed bar.
- Pick how you want to be notified — app push, email or pop-up.
An alert is a notification only. Artillery Trades indicators do not execute, manage or close trades.
Risk and responsible use
These tools are built to make a setup visible and consistent. They cannot remove risk, and any signal can lose.
- Use position sizing and a stop on every trade.
- Practise in TradingView Bar Replay or on a simulated account before trading live.
- A chart screenshot is an example, not a guarantee.
- Historical behaviour does not guarantee future results.
- Never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
Troubleshooting
The most common issues, and what actually fixes them:
- Indicator not in the list — access may still be processing, or the username on your Dashboard does not match your TradingView account. If it has not appeared after 24 hours, verify the username or contact support.
- Wrong username saved — correct it in the Dashboard and save again; the next sync picks it up.
- Nothing is drawing — check you are on the instrument and timeframe the product specifies.
- Signals look absent — many strategies only operate inside a specific session window.
- Indicator added but invisible — check it is not hidden in the chart legend, and that the price scale is not zoomed past the levels.
- Alerts not firing — confirm the alert is still active and was created against the indicator, not the plain price.
- Still stuck — refresh the chart, or sign out and back in to TradingView, then contact support.
Common questions
How long does access take?
Access is typically activated within 24 hours after your TradingView username is submitted. If access has not appeared after 24 hours, verify your TradingView username in your dashboard or contact support.
Do I need a paid TradingView plan?
No — a free TradingView account is enough to receive access. TradingView’s free plan limits how many indicators you can run on one chart, so if you want several Artillery tools on the same chart you may want one of their paid plans.
Can I change my TradingView username later?
Yes. Update it on your Dashboard and save. Access is re-synced against the new username.
Do the indicators place trades for me?
No. They analyse the chart and can send alerts. They never execute, manage or close a position.
Which indicator should I start with?
Pick the one that matches the market and the time of day you actually trade. The catalog lists the instrument, timeframe and session for every product.
